Our Queue Now feature is an online queuing system that allows customers to join the queue anytime, anywhere. Customers who download our app can check table availability and receive live updates if they have joined the queue. If customers do not download our app, they can still join the queue by scanning the unique QR code of each restaurant and check the queue status by refreshing the webpage. When a customer's table is ready, they will receive an email notification.

If you are a restaurant owner or representative and would like to join our free trial, please contact us by filling out the contact form on our website. Alternatively, you can call us on +61 499 977 277 from 9 am to 9 pm AEST or email us at info@journerator.com.au We will send you a registration form to fill out. We need the following information:

  • The name of your restaurant and its Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • The name of the restaurant owner
  • The phone number and email address for the main point of contact at your restaurant
  • The address of your restaurant

After we receive this information, we will send you a confirmation email with a password to log in to the app and generate your unique restaurant QR code for customers to scan and join the queue. No payment details are required during the free trial period.

We accept the following payment options:

We prefer customers to set up direct debit to avoid missed payments and late fees. Direct Debit can be set up by us using Gocardless or you can speak with your bank to organise a recurring payment. For more details, please speak to one of our team members.

When a table becomes available, restaurant staff can tap the "Notify" button. Our system will then send a "Your table is ready" notification to the customer.

  • For customers who joined the queue by scanning the restaurant’s QR code: They will receive a notification via the email they provided when joining the queue.
  • For customers who joined the queue using our app: They will receive an in-app notification from the restaurant when their table is ready.

The Booking On/Off button, located in the top right corner of the home page, allows you to stop accepting new bookings or walk-in customers for the day. When switched off, our system will no longer accept further bookings for that specific day. Please note that existing confirmed bookings will not be cancelled.
